Q8 Aviation is part of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, which has the fourth largest oil reserves in the world and is the leading jet fuel producer in the Middle East. They currently provide jet fuel to more than 200 airlines at more than 60 airports worldwide and have been established in Thailand for almost 20 years. Due to retirement, Q8 Aviation now requires an outstanding individual to manage their highly successful Thailand operation.

The Operations Manager will control a small dedicated team of professionals working in both Bangkok and Chonburi and will be responsible for Q8 Aviation’s operations in Thailand. This will involve controlling the distribution, customer service and commercial process that ensures jet fuel is delivered to Q8 Aviation’s customers at Suvarnabhumi Airport and the regional airports throughout Thailand. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the product is delivered to the required standard on the agreed delivery date and that all aspects of Health and Safety are maintained to an exceptional standard at all stages of the process. The Operations Manager will work closely with decision makers at multinational airlines, the Petroleum Authority of Thailand and local Airports.

The successful candidate will possess an engineering degree and will have over 10 years experience working in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry. He or she must have terminal working experience along with a proven track record of operational management in an environment that places Health and Safety as the overriding priority. The Operations Manager must enjoy the challenge of working in a highly demanding environment, possess a “hands on” working style and be able to make decisions quickly under pressure. The successful candidate will have very good written and spoken English skills and preferably some sales/marketing experience.
