Our client was established in 1906 in Hong Kong, a member of the one of the world’s largest trading companies and also operates retail chain stores under the trade names of the world’s most sought after brands. Since their establishment our client’s retail operations have operated over 950 retail stores in the Asia Pacific region and serve more than 500,000 customers daily. With annual revenues exceeding $800 USD, our client is expanding their operations and is seeking an exceptional candidate to take upon the responsibilities of the following position.

The Finance Manager will report to the General Manager – Finance and Accounting based in Singapore, and will be responsible for initiating and managing the financial direction of our client’s operations in Thailand, whilst ensuring all financial budgets, plans and performance indictors are organized and coordinated. In addition the Finance Manager as will be responsible for maintaining the financial resources of our client, identifying and manage financial and corporate risks, and ensuring our client’s financial data is maintained to comply with strict corporate standards. The Finance Manager will take an operational role in establishing and monitoring action plans to reduce costs, compiling monthly, quarterly and annual management reports for both our client’s overseas and regional offices. The job will involve anticipating all financial related events that could impact our client’s financial performance and suggesting viable action plans to counteract potential negative impacts in all facets of our client’s business.

The Finance Manager will have previous experience in an operational role in a similar position preferably within a large scale multi-national retailer. In addition, the Finance Manager possesses the ability to set up and implement financial systems and processes and have a very good command of spoken and written English. The ideal candidate would posses previous audit experience, and be able to take a hand-on role in a highly complex yet fast moving consumer related business.
