As part of Western Union’s expansion in Thailand they now require an outstanding Business Development Manager.

The Business Development Manager will report to the Country Director and will be responsible for maximizing the revenue generated by Thai and expatriates that are based overseas and need to use Western Union’s money transfer and financial services. This will involve analyzing the potential revenue streams from overseas countries and working with Western Union’s marketing and sales teams located within these countries to form strategies that attract customers to use Western Union’s services. The successful candidate will have a variety of marketing and sales responsibilities and will enjoy a very large support structure, but will need to use their leadership skills to motivate others and drive each support group to optimize sales and implement useful and effective marketing strategies.

The Business Development Manager will assume a newly formed role in which he or she will be able to work in a Manager will have very good English skills and a minimum of eight years experience working as a business development and/or key account manager within a reputable multinational consumer goods or consumer financial services company. The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel and spend at least 40% of their time outside Thailand and enjoy working independently within a very entrepreneurial environment.
